Indications for Use: When to use the Defibrio AED

The Defibrio AED is intended for emergency treatment of individuals who are exhibiting symptoms of cardiac arrest, specifically patients who are unresponsive and not breathing normally.

The Defibrio AED analyzes the patient’s cardiac rhythm and allows the delivery of an electrical shock to treat ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia. It will not deliver a shock if it does not detect a condition where a shock would be required.

The Defibrio AED is indicated for adult patients weighing more than 55 pounds (25 kg).

This device is intended for use in homes, public areas, and businesses.
