The Defibrio AED is designed to be portable and can be safely packed for travel. It does not contain a lithium battery (or any battery) so can be packed in checked or carry-on luggage for air travel.

The Defibrio app is also designed to be location-aware and will call the correct emergency services number for the country you are in.

If traveling internationally, check if any local regulations apply to the use of personal defibrillators. International cell phone coverage may be needed to contact emergency services but is not needed to use the AED.
